The Unrealistic Expectations that will ruin your PTC experience

There is a lot of money circulating around the Paid-to-Click (PTC) world, and on top of it, the opportunity to sell a wide variety of products in the networks without you having to sell them face to face. But that idea that most people is trying to sell you: that you can just sit, click a few things, and become wealthy; it doesn’t work like that.

Welcome to the real world of PTC. You can succeed, just don’t waste your time, that is your most valuable asset.

The reality of referrals

Say that you do get a couple hundreds of referrals, people who join the networks under you. That will happen if you are active long enough and using the right approaches to get them.

They will not be very active, and many of them will quit soon after they join your network. People lose interest, or give up.

Not just here in the PTC world, this happens also in decades-old multi-level marketing businesses like Amway. This is the reality that many people trying to build a multi-level marketing network faces.

Then why are we trying it in the first place?

Because from time to time, we come across those who don’t give up, and who beging building their own network under you. They happen, and they will ultimately give you that freedom that you seek, but not if you give up too early.

In order for this to work, you must also choose the right networks to invest your time into. Choose a network that allows you to build a downline that can go several levels deep (you benefit from the people you invite, and from the people they invite, and so on and on), and one with a rock-solid business model so it doesn’t collapse before you get to reap the benefits. It’s depressing to read the comments of people who invested a lot of time, and money, in a network that just dies.

I have two favourite networks for this: ClixSense (around since 2007, 8 levels of referrals) and EasyHits4U (around since 2003, 6 levels of referrals). ClixSense gives money, EasyHits4U gives a lot of opportunities to promote everything else, including ClixSense, NeoBux and ClickBank products.

ClixSense is awesome, the yearly Premium membership is only $17 and generating that in ClixSense is actually not hard. And I still have the promotion where if you generate that for me I either upgrade your account or extend it for a year.

The reality of getting the referrals

Having awesome referrals is tough, but what about getting them in the first place?

There are many many different approaches to get the referrals: word-of-mouth, family and friends, social networks, traffic exchanges, using the PTC networks themselves to promote other PTC networks, a website, a blog, online courses, e-books, YouTube videos.

This is where the word “conversion” comes into play. So you show an Ad 100 times, and then 1 person that you showed the Ad to joins under you. This is a 1% conversion rate, 1 out of 100. And this is low if you are doing door-to-door selling, but high if you are sharing a landing page to people you don’t know.

If you had a 1% conversion rate, then you would need to show the Ad 10,000 times to get 100 referrals. And sadly, just showing the Ad provided to you by the network that you are promoting will have a much lower conversion rate than 1 out of 100 in some places.

But this doesn’t mean that you can not play with your own approaches to get people to join. EasyHits4U gives you some very easy to use tools to make a Splash page of your own. I am also planing to open up this site to participation of others to promote their own links so long as content of quality is created and shared. And I will share a guide about how to build up your own site easily, and how to make your banners using free software. That is why I haven’t been as active, I am working in a lot of content and it is very very time consuming, but I believe it is worthy if it can help you get ahead.

The reality of advertising in the PTC Networks and Traffic Exchanges

There is only one reality: the conversion rates are low if you promote using the same thing that everybody else is using. Once again the conversion rate is, if you show an Ad 100 times, and one person joins/buys the product, then you have a 1% conversion rate, one out of a hundred.

So that idea of “take this page, share this page as it is, and you will get hundres of referrals/sell a huge amount of this product”, that is just not going to happen.

You have a better chance if you create a splash page yourself, or if you create a banner yourself, or if you find a way to promote a service or sell a product that is not the same as many people.

It doesn’t have to be perfect at all, but people will look at something that doesn’t look exactly like what they have been seeing every day for many days. Our brains start filtering such things, only new unseen things bypass those filters.

The reality of Bux sites and rented referrals in NeoBux

Bux sites… stay away from them. They don’t have a sustainable business model, they will collapse after they take your time, and if you made a mistake, also your money. And the rented referrals are not real, they are computer generated to pretend that they are real, you will see them go inactive all at once. I’m sorry, but it is like that.

Then where is this craze coming from? Because there is one Bux site that is actually real: NeoBux.

Online since 2008, it promises you a way to build your finantial freedom through a system of “rented referrals”, and it delivers on it. It’s an old site, with a different approach than all the Bux sites poping up nowadays. And the rented referral system, it is actual people in the network.

But if you start NeoBux with no investment, it’s going to take you a very very very long time to reach your finantial freedom through it. And you will not only have to watch the Ads but maybe do offers, surveys, mini-jobs and play the AdPrize lottery to make it much faster. And you will have to use the rented referrals system, and handle it strategically. The people who is cashing out the thousands of dollars every month have been there for a while and/or invested some serious money on NeoBux.

But, in NeoBux there is a very defined and clear goal that everyone going serious with NeoBux is trying to reach. When you start cashing out big in NeoBux, it isn’t NeoBux giving you free money, it is your reward for the time and the effort that you put into it. It is a reward for your constancy and your strategy.

And if you are thinking “you know what, this isn’t for me, I need the money right now, right at the end of this month”, don’t use your time here, it won’t give you what you need on time, this is something to play for years, until one day you win.

These networks work and have value because of us using them, if we stop using them, they die in no time. The strong networks care about their members, and reward them properly for their activity. The scams just care about sucking up the time and the money of everyone they can lure into them.

Isn’t this a scam?

I’m sure by now you have seen many Ads from NeoBux members portraying huge huge numbers. And if you have been in this “game” long enough, you have been scammed out of both time and money before. I have been, that is how this site came into being more than a year ago in the first place.

Nowadays I focus primarily in ClixSense as you have seen, in the Traffic Exchange EasyHits4U, and in NeoBux. And I started all three of them from absolute 0 money. Of course I use also other sites, specially sites that I am studing how to use and be successful at them, so I can get material for this site. But through the combination of them you can get something going from the ground up.

My point being that I trust NeoBux, I have seen how it operates, studied its business model, plus it has been around over 8 years. If you learn to use its rental referral system, it is possible to achieve finantial freedom on it.

Those numbers that you see on banners, they are not possible without the rental referrals, the use of Golden Packs, and proper management of the account. It doesn’t take long, it could be done with less than 5 minutes a day seeing the primary Ads required to get income from the rented referrals, but it takes constancy every day to grow the account to that point starting from nothing.

My guides and my tool to predict referral clicks based on their behavior, in order to give better advice of when to recycle them, are still being worked on. The Social Network that Facebook doesn’t want you to find

The reality is that Facebook is ranking in billions in Ad revenue thanks to you. But you know this: you and your time are Facebook‘s product, you are what they sell to their partners, do you realize how much value you have? But of course, it shares none of the profit with you, not a single cent.

Now there is a viable alternative, a good competitor with good quality; and on top of it, it shares the revenue generated from the advertisements with the users of the Network, the network only keeps 10%. You earn by simply being social.

Facebook did not like it one bit… Now it won’t even let you type the name, and it deleted every single mention of it, across all of its platforms.

By an article in CNN Money:

“Facebook (FB, Tech30) is blocking any link to Tsu.co on every platform it owns, including Messenger and Instagram. It even went back and deleted more than 1 million Facebook posts that ever mentioned Tsu.co, making pictures, videos and comments disappear in an instant.“

So what is this TSU.co?

TSU.co is a social network, and a good one at it. I didn’t write about it before until I got familiarized with it and established a good network. You can have your contacts and share diverse information such as pictures, videos or simply your thoughts. You use it as you use Facebook, it has also its mobile App for sharing content, it has #hashtags, and if you past links it automatically sets-up the article, YouTube video or image for sharing. It supports animated Gifs as well so long as its size is not too large, for after all the idea is to make the experience of the social network good.

But, unlike Facebook, Tsu.co only keeps 10% of the Ad revenue. You keep 45%. The chain of friends that invited you to Tsu.co split the rest. So if you invite people in, you also get a share of the revenue that they make.

The algorithm that they use to calculate the revenue is keept secret, but so far everybody seems to be very happy with it. You don’t need to do anything special, if you use TSU.co the way that you use other social networks, you have your share of the revenue.

How to use and earn from TSU.co

There are of course people who just spend all day sharing pictures and sharing articles on TSU.co, this very same people will add as friend anyone who they come across in the hope that they will be added back and get views for their posts.

But you don’t see content of people who you didn’t add as friend or follow. That is how it goes. I saw the exact same thing happen in other networks such as Google+, only in most networks people do it for recognition, or to call themselves “social media experts”, here people do it also for a little money.

But if you do want to have a good position in Social Media, then create, it is as simple as that. Create content that doesn’t lose its worth with the passing of time. If you are a musician, create music; if you are a graphic artist, create graphical content; if you are a video creator, then create videos; and if you only like to write, to teach, to inform, or to share your opinions, just write.

This is the environment where being unique has value and being like everybody else doesn’t. So be yourself!

The PTC Networks are still a dangerous environment however, you see around endless promises of quick money, the solution to all the problems in your life, the fulfillment of all your dreams.

Nothing is ever that simple. You can do build a future using the PTC Networks, you can do get an extra income, the money is there. It will take time and effort, it will not happen from one day to another.

Lets say that you join ClixSense today, and that somehow you get 1,000 direct referrals in a week. That still doesn’t solve the problem, because many of those referrals will go inactive almost as soon as they join.

But still, you will be in a much better situation if you join ClixSense now than if you join it at the end of the year. The same goes for NeoBux.

Because you will spend months trying to find something that actually works and pays, and after you get tired you may DO join the big PTC Networks, only you will have to start from cero instead of having a couple of months in advance.

One last commentary: you will get referrals, but from those referrals, it will take time before you find one that is very active and builds a larger downline for you, the way I do for my uplines. You will never get to this referrals if you don’t join or if you don’t try it. Again, the PTC Networks are growing right now, you will not regret that you join now and build something starting today.

Serious scam warning against Traffic Monsoon

Traffic Monsoon tries to reassure its members that they will get paid, but now the funds were put in a “Pending Status” and members can not do anything about it.

In 2015 Traffic Monsoon did work and always paid on time, but now I think is fair to declare the site a scam.

First of all, it wouldn’t be the first time that Charles Scoville does it, experinces problems and then closes the site.

But another issue here is that with the activity of the site completely plummeting, it is very unlikely that even if they pay back the funds to the members, people would be rushing to inject cash into the site to continue the same business model.

It was kind of nice while it lasted, but nothing last forever. If you are looking to build a network in a solid site, as I usually say, I recommend ClixSense. I am taking the advice I took from my previous note about Traffic Monsoon, that is the best I can advice.

What are the alternatives to Traffic Monsoon?

It is difficult to replace exactly what Traffic Monsoon was in 2015. Despite the fact that a lot of systems promote themselves as “the new Traffic Monsoon” and “the next Traffic Monsoon”, they lack the amount of users that Traffic Monsoon had. Some good systems to use, based on it’s antiquity and the fact that they actually pay and have a sustainable business model, are:

ClixSense is your best choice. There are other PTC Sites that offer some ways to do money online, there are other sites that offer Surveys or a Grid game, but why go for the second if you can go for the best and most trusted one? Operating since 2007, and with a good Affiliate program available, you know your time spent building that network won’t go to waste.

It is good for getting money to spend soon, and you can cash-out to multiple payment processors which is a HUGE advantage. It is also a great system to promote and build your affiliate network.

For a long term strategy with/without Investment (with investment is faster of course)

NeoBux is the best choice here. If you don’t have the time or the will to build an affiliate network, then its rented referral system is for you. A little warning though, without investment it is going to take you a very very long time to build the income stream to a point in which it makes a difference in your life.

Good Traffic Exchanges

There are plenty of Traffic Exchanges available online, with varying levels of activity each one; and there are Networks of Traffic Exchanges that reward you for seeing sites in it’s different member sites.

EasyHits4U is my favourite Traffic Exchange. With a multitude of tools to help you promote your referral links (such as Splash Pages and Site Rotators) both inside and outside of EasyHits4U; the ability to display your sites to specific segments (you can show to specific languages or specific countries, and if you have an upgraded account even to specific regions of the countries), plus a very active community, you can reach a lot of people and perform marketing research and carry out testing of your ads.

clicktrafficprofit is another group of Traffic Exchanges, and this one has a lot of members and other opportunities to make some money, plus plenty of resources about affiliate marketing.

Skrill cashouts now available in NeoBux

Now cashouts to Skrill are available to NeoBux members with the following fees:

Payments from $2 to $50: $1 fixed fee
Payments above $50: 2% fee

In NeoBux you can cashout unlimited funds to your primary cashout account, but to the other payment processors you can cashout up to the money that you deposited from that account. Your primary cashout account is the one you have used to purchase the most.

Say you buy $200 using PayPal and $50 using Skrill and you accumulate $800 in your NeoBux account.

Then you can cashout $800 to PayPal, but only $50 to Skrill.

If later on you deposit $200 more with Skrill so the deposit from Skrill reaches $250, then you will be able to cashout $200 to PayPal or $800 to Skrill.

The reason for this is that NeoBux doesn’t become just a tool to move funds from Payment Processor to Payment Processor, it would not be sustainable. But you can choose your favorite payment processor and use it’s funds and get your funds back without a problem.

What is happening with Traffic Monsoon

The situation with Traffic Monsoon has changed recently, so I am forced to release a Serious scam warning against Traffic Monsoon

There are many who have invested plenty of time, money, and advertising credits in Traffic Monsoon, despite its abundance of glitches and knowing it is a risk. But now, if you are still active on it, vey likely you noticed a massive drop in the level of activity, plus the fact that cashouts to PayPal are no longer possible. So, what is going on? Did the site become a scam?

Recently Traffic Monsoon made an announcemente about changing the payment and withdrawal method. Supposedly they are moving away from PayPal after they have been having problems with them or so they say.

Given the history of working with PayPal, it is not unusual that they block or cause troubles to an account that suddenly starts getting serious money. Their intentions of moving away from PayPal are perfectly understandable.

However, the fact is that payments have not been coming out from Traffic Monsoon, their funds are being withheld by PayPal or that is the story they say.

In a video released by Charles Scoville, Traffic Monsoon’s owner, he tries to reassure the users of Traffic Monsoon. He talks about 62 millions of US dollars being withheld by PayPal, and he also talks about the process of opening a bank to be able to pay users back.

The question is, does Traffic Monsoon really has a chance to survive without PayPal? There probably aren’t many willing to invest the funds that they have available in PayPal into a system that will not get their funds back into PayPal, and the great mayority of people will not move away of PayPal just like that.

And we want the people with funds in PayPal to follow our offers, that is the market that many are after, but that market is no longer available at Traffic Monsoon.

So how do we get our funds out?

Traffic Monsoon sends funds to the account that you signed in with to Traffic Monsoon (usually PayPal), or to either Payza or SolidTrustPay if you have made a payment using any of them.

I will try this later during the week: to move funds from ClixSense to Payza, and then use them to make a payment in Traffic Monsoon. After that I will try the withdrawal from Traffic Monsoon into Payza. I will see how that goes.

As of right now, the fact is that you can not withdraw to PayPal anymore, and if you didn’t sign in with either Payza or SolidTrustPay and you haven’t buy using them, your funds are stuck in Traffic Monsoon.

Despite the claims made by Charles Scoville about the future of Traffic Monsoon, it would not be the first time he closes a site and runs away with the funds. But given that Traffic Monsoon has never miss a payment so far, I will wait and see.
